Practical information

What you should know

These answers cover general information only. They are not medical advice.

When and how do I receive my results?

Turnaround time depends on the test and is communicated by the laboratory. Results are available as printed copies at the laboratory or, at the client’s request, sent by WhatsApp or email.

How can I pay?

We accept card and cash payments.

What are the sample collection hours?

Samples are collected throughout opening hours: Monday–Saturday, 07:00–18:00. Follow the laboratory’s and your doctor’s instructions for test-specific preparation.

Do you offer home sample collection?

Yes, home sample collection is available. Contact the laboratory by phone or WhatsApp to arrange a visit.

Do I need to fast before my tests?

Not every test requires fasting. Preparation varies by test and your doctor's instructions. Message us on WhatsApp to confirm before you visit.

Can I come without an appointment?

Yes. The laboratory does not use appointments; patients are welcome to walk in during opening hours.

How can I check the price of a test?

Search by name or code on the Tests page to see the published price. To confirm it, send us only the test name on WhatsApp; do not send results or sensitive health information.

Where is the laboratory?

Anna Maria Laboratory is on Islam Alla Street in Tirana. Use the Directions button to open our official Google Maps location.

What are your opening hours?

We are open Monday to Saturday, 07:00–18:00. We are closed on Sundays.

What information should I send on WhatsApp?

Send the full test name exactly as written on your doctor's referral or the code shown in the online catalogue. If you need several tests, list them separately. Start with the practical question and do not attach results or sensitive health information.

Are the prices on the website up to date?

The Tests page shows the prices currently published in Albanian lek. Prices and availability may change, so contact the laboratory to confirm before your visit, especially for specialised tests or when you have a list of several tests.

Where can I find preparation guidance?

The Test Preparation page explains general checks before sample collection. Fasting is not required for every test, and some tests may have a specific time or other instruction. Follow your doctor's advice and confirm practical details with the laboratory.

Can I send results for interpretation?

The website and a first WhatsApp message are not channels for interpreting test results. Do not send reports or personal data without guidance. For medical interpretation, speak with the doctor who requested the tests or the healthcare professional responsible for your care.
